Cardi M? Mardi B? We're not sure about their couple name, but we know a collaboration between Marshmello and Cardi B would be nothing short of massive.

The "Happier" producer took to Twitter to put the thought into the ether. "I need to do a song with Cardi B this year," he wrote, making sure to @ the Grammy winning MC so she can see that he's serious.

Both the producer and the rapper are decorated chart players. Marshmello has hit the Hot 100 seven times, including with "Danger" with Migos. Cardi, on the other hand, has 25 Hot 100 hits on her hands, incuding "Taki Taki" with DJ Snake. Add it up, and that's next-level star power.

While Mello's own fans have shown some resistance in their reactions, we find it hard to believe a Marshmello and Cardi B crossover wouldn't illicit some big radio spins. Damn near everything Cardi touches turns to gold, anyway.
