Lightning in a Bottle

Some festivals want to give you great music and send you on your way, but Lightning in a Bottle wants to change your life. The Do LaB's annual California fest started as a birthday party and grew into one of the most beloved so-called “transformational festivals” on the scene. It's days are filled with workshops, talks and immersive installations, and the 2019 lineup is stacked with three stages of stellar electronic offerings.

The Lightning stage features grooves from Disclosure, sexy sax from Big Gigantic, a 3-D presentation from Flying Lotus and more. The Woogie stage will boogie with ethereal vibes from Lane 8, hip-hop ambience from DJ Koze, weird-desert psychedelia from Damian Lazarus and others. Finally, the Thunder stage will boom with intellectual bass rowdiness from G Jones, funkadelic exploration from The Polish Ambassador, indie rock dance wonk from Opiuo and more.

Santigold, Gramatik, Toro Y Moi, Khruangbin and more bring more diversity and star power to the full bill. Lightning in a Bottle returns to it's home at Buena Vista Lake in Central California Wednesday to Monday, May 8 to 13. That's Mother's Day weekend, in case your mom likes great music. Tickets are one sale now. Check the full lineup below.
