Nicky Romero & David Guetta Team Up (Again!) for 'Ring the Alarm'

The bromance between David Guetta and Nicky Romero continued Friday (Feb. 15) with "Ring the Alarm," an insanely jacked collab dropping just in time for the weekend. This prolific working relationship is long and well-documented.

The producers first crossed musical paths in 2009, when Romero produced bootlegs of Guetta's "Memories" and "When Love Takes Over." Guetta liked what he heard and invited Romero on tour with him in 2011, with the duo releasing a series of megawatt edits and collaborations in the years that followed.

Their latest collab is out now on Romero’s Protocol Recordings, coming to life after Guetta heard demos of the song on Romero’s Instagram and hit him up via FaceTime to spitball ideas. The record features drumline style breakdowns and, naturally, an actual alarm. "Ring The Alarm" comes hot on the heels of Romero’s "Distance" – a collaboration with actress Olivia Holt – and the announcement of his return to Las Vegas via 2019 residencies at Hakkasan and Omnia.
