Above & Beyond Announce Two-Day Gorge Show, Get Heavy On Instrumental 'Distorted Truth': Watch

Above & Beyond

Can anyone make a vocal trance track as emotionally-thrilling as Above & Beyond? People regularly cry at the trio's concerts, and yet, it would be unwise to call the group one note. These English lads are just as capable of going raw and rowdy, leaving the vocals at home, and that's exactly what happens on "Distorted Truth," the second single from A&B's forthcoming Common Ground Companion EP

It's a driving, dichotomous four minutes that is as exhaultive as it is brooding. It's all rough synths and pounding rhythm, but there's that kernal of spiritual beauty that gives Above & Beyond its signature sound.

"Distorted Truth" was debuted in the trio's Group Therapy 300 mix in Hong Kong, and speaking of Group Therapy, A&B is readying its return to Washington state's famous Gorge Amiphitheater for a two-day camp festival called Group Therapy Weekender.

Above & Beyond originally came to the Gorge to celebrate Group Therapy's 250th session. It will return Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28, ready to conjure more majestic magic. Tickets are on sale now, while the digital package of the full Common Ground Companion EP is out Friday, March 29.
