Tiesto Remixes 1998 Electro Jam 'Pulverturm': Listen

Jordan Loyd

In 1998, German DJ and producer Niels van Gogh had a European hit with his progressive electro jam "Pulverturm." Its pounding beat and pulsing synths won the hearts of ravers from France to Belgium and even South Africa, and apparently, it left a lasting impression on Tiësto.

In the late '90s, Tiësto was still a trance man, and he taps a bit into those roots with what he calls his "Pulverturm" Big Room Remix. It's a modern take on all those classic sounds, crispier and slicker, but just as progressive and moody.

It should put a smile on its originator's face, and it should prove a nice moment in its remixers set all through the year. It's out on Tiësto's label Musical Freedom. Listen to it below.
