Marshmello Says He Has an 'All Hip Hop Album Done'

Marshmello performs on stage during 93.3 FLZ's Tampa Jingle Ball on Dec. 15, 2018 in Tampa, Fla.

We know Marshmello's got an international collaboration with Indian singers Pritam and Shirley Setia on the way, but it looks like he's got more than one trick up his long, white sleeves.

The masked producer told a fan on Twitter today (Jan. 29) that he's got "an all hip hop album done." No comment on when that might see light of day, but we can compare the style to his previously-released collaborations with rappers Roddy Ricch, Lil PeepMigos and others.

It's not new territory for the confectionary composer, but it would be his boldest step into that world. He's well connected. We can only imagine what A-listers or up-and-comers may make appearances.

See his tweet below.
