Each week, Billboard Dance looks at songs & albums rising on Billboard's dance charts.

KREAM feat. Maia Wright, "Decisions"

Norwegian DJ/production duo KREAM (brothers Daniel and Markus Slettebakken) cruises onto Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (dated Jan. 19) at No. 39 with "Decisions," featuring singer Maia Wright. It's KREAM's second song to impact a Billboard chart, following "Taped Up Heart" (featuring Clara Mae), which achieved a No. 21 peak on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs in December 2016. "Decisions," the first foray onto any Billboard chart for Wright, as well as KREAM's first Dance/Mix Show Airplay entry, is earning play on core-dance affiliates, including Music Choice's Dance/EDM channel, KNHC (C89.5) Seattle and iHeartRadio's Evolution network (as monitored on WFLZ-HD Tampa, Florida), according to Nielsen Music.

Steve Pereira, senior dance/EDM programmer at the song's airplay leader, Music Choice, tells Billboard, "It was an easy decision to add the song, no pun intended. It's upbeat, fun, Maia Wright's voice is incredible and the lyrics are great. It definitely adds a different vibe to our Dance channel when it plays. It's addicting."

3LAU feat. Carly Paige, "Would You Understand"

Las Vegas-based DJ/producer 3LAU (real name: Justin Blau) scores his sixth hit on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with "Would You Understand," featuring singer Carly Paige (No. 46). The track is the second consecutive charted collaboration between 3LAU and Paige, following "Touch," which hit No. 24 (the highest-peaking hit for both acts) last March.

Charli XCX & Troye Sivan, "1999"

Charli XCX and Troye Sivan's "1999" arrives at No. 49 on Dance Club Songs. The song (not a cover of Prince's classic, which hit No. 1 on the chart in 1982) is the sixth entry for Charli and the third for Sivan, who led with "Youth" in 2016 and "My My My!" last May. "1999" was remixed by Alphalove, R3HAB and Michael Calfan, among others. A week ago, "1999" debuted on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart, where it bullets this week at No. 39 (up 9 percent in plays).
