Gesaffelstein Reveals Upcoming Album Title and Artwork

Michael Tullberg/FilmMagic
Gesaffelstein performs at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Aug. 3, 2012 in Los Angeles.

If you aren't afraid of the dark, you might just love it, in which case you'll rejoice at the sight of Gesaffelstein's forthcoming album. The French producer is famous for his sinister brand of horror-hop, influenced by equal parts French touch, west coast rap and John Carpenter soundtracks.

Three years of silence were broken by sudden single "Reset," and the artist now confirms a full-length release called Hyperion. The album cover is pretty much entirely black to match his signature suits and sonic styling. The album was first announced via a mural advertisement in downtown Miami during the recent Art Basel celebrations, but has since been shared on the artist's social media.

A release date for Hyperion has yet to be announced.
