Marshmello Participates in Charitable YouTube Giving Week

Marshmello has partnered with Hope for Paws, a non-profit that rescues dogs, cats and other animals neglected on the streets or in the wild.

'Tis the season to give, and in the spirit of giving, YouTube's top content creators have teamed with charities in support of a great many causes. The video platform launched YouTube Giving earlier this year. It's a set of tools that allow users to enable donation buttons on their uploads, and for Thanksgiving week, the program is extended to include even more creators and organizations.

Marshmello is one of the top YouTubers on the platform, thanks to his wildly successful cooking and gaming videos. He joins his friends Rhett & Link, The Game Theorists and more as each champions a different charity of their choosing.

The partnership pairs nicely with Marshmello's recent tear-jerker of a music video for "Happier" featuring Bastille. It tells the story of a young girl who grows up alongside her pup. Man's best friend is clearly also a pal to Marshmellos.

Watch for Marshmello's YouTube Giving content this week across his channel, and don't forget to donate to help Hope for Paws' mission.
