Avicii Fans Gather in Stockholm for Memorial Service

Seven months after Avicii's tragic death, fans joined his family in Stockholm to pay tribute to him at a memorial service.

The late DJ, born Tim Bergling, died by suicide in April at the age of 28. On Friday (Nov. 16), over 2,000 fans reportedly gathered at Bergling's father's family church, Hedvig Eleonora Church, to pay their respects and honor his memory.

His father, Klas Bergling, spoke at the ceremony, and choral versions of Avicii songs, including "Wake Me Up" and "Without You," were performed. Fans gathered outside the venue as well, lining the streets.
