Excision Drops Lost Lands 2018 Mix & Compilation Before Apex Tour: Listen

Terrence Blanton/Fadewood Live

When it comes to ear-bleeding levels of sound, Excision is king. Truly, you shouldn't ever go see this dude without a serious pair of ear plugs. You'll probably go deaf. The Rottun Recordings headmaster prides himself on being the loudest DJ around -- like, he's really bringing "225,000 watts of bone crushing PK Sound" on his forthcoming Apex tour, which is set to hit clubs, theaters and festivals across the United States (with one stop in Belgium) from late November through April.

Let it be noted, though, that Excision isn't out to just assault your eardrums. His massive bass takes a calculated approach, letting each layer of sound come through in crunching detail. If you need proof, just listen to the mayhem of his Lost Lands Festival headline set from 2018. He recently released the nearly two-hour performance on Spotify, and it's been perfectly mastered, so you don't miss a single sonic detail.

Lost Lands is, of course, Excision's annual dinosaur-themed bass festival. He runs the show, and he wants to be sure you catch a vibe from all of the talented DJs on the lineup. If you missed Lost Lands in 2018, you can get to know the roster courtesy of the official Lost Lands 2018 compilation, which was also released today and is available below.

Tickets for the Apex tour are on sale now. He'll be joined on the road by Squnto, Sullivan King and He$h. Check the details, and get your brain blasted in by bass, below.
