You know that Daft Punk song "Teachers," where the lyrics are pretty much just a list of the electronic duo's favorite bands? Or that part in LCD Soundsystem's "Losing My Edge" where James Murphy rattles off his sick record collection? Those musical moments are fun, and they're also a treasure trove of discovery for curious fans.

Felix Da Housecat must find those songs fun, too, because the Chicago house-meister's latest, "Acid Picky," names his top picks for the acid house genre. ?By the way, it turns out his favorite three are DJ Pierre, Armando and Josh Wink.

"Acid Picky" is the first of two songs from a forthcoming collaborative EP with Australian Kristin Velvet called Cats Love Velvet II. The pair previously worked together on Cats Love Velvet's first edition, which featured a track called "Marshall and Pierre," so we assume the DJ Pierre love runs deep.

The song, which is as acidic as is to be expected, is paired with B-side "Swing Special." Cats Love Velvet II is out on Arms & Legs, a label Velvet helps run, on Friday, but you can listen to "Acid Picky" and jam out a day early, exclusively on Billboard Dance.
