DJs React to Historic U.S. Midterm Election Results

It might not have been a so-called #BlueWave, but it was a historic election in many ways. Colorado's Jared Polis became the first openly gay man elected governor. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar were the first Muslim women elected as members of Congress, in Michigan and Minnesota, respectively. Sharice Davids and Deb Haaland, too, are the first Native American women to represent in Congress, for Kansas and New Mexico.

More women than ever were elected to the legislative branch, and of course people all across the United States are celebrating that fact -- but did you realize that the guy who wrote the theme song for Dragon Ball Z won a seat in Texas? That's the kind of news you need to get from electronic dance music Twitter.
