Frank Walker feat. Riley Biederer, "Heartbreak Back"
Toronto-based producer Frank Walker debuts at No. 39 on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (dated Oct. 20) with "Heartbreak Back," featuring Atlanta-native singer Riley Biederer. While the first hit on a U.S.-based Billboard chart for both acts, "Heartbreak" follows Walker's "Less Lonely," which reached No. 35 on the Canada CHR/Top 40 chart in June 2017. "Heartbreak" owes its chart showing due to airplay on SiriusXM's BPM, where it drew all but one of its 95 plays in the tracking week (ending Oct. 14), according to Nielsen Music.
Geronimo, SiriusXM vp of electronic and dance music programming tells Billboard, "Myles Shear, Kygo and Frank Walker's manager asked me to check out 'Heartbreak Back' as he felt like it was a perfect BPM song. It just took one listen for me to realize that this would work well for our audience. We did an edit of the song where we added an instrumental intro and then made it a 'BPM Breaker,' which is a category that we created to help break new artists and music. After five weeks the song was researching top three with our audience and we are still seeing growth."
