Because the internet.

Earlier this month, dance music's resident class clown Dillon Francis took to Twitter for seemingly no reason other than to cause chaos when he posted a challenge: "10k RT’s i’ll wax ZEDD into my chest." Don't poke the sleeping bear, because that bear loves a good, dumb picture.

It took a whole week, but Francis got his 10,000 retweets, and he made good on his ridiculous promise. He shared a picture of hairy wax strips spelling out the "Stay" producer's name, then he gave fans the money shot. Now, fans can give that money back and buy a shirt depicting the ZEDD chest. Half of all the money made will be donated by Francis and ZEDD to non profit organization Locks of Love. The shirt is on sale for 72 hours only, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 23.

Francis is actually promoting his Spanish-language album Wut Wut, which hit stores and streaming platforms in September, but this seemingly has nothing to do with any of that. "Z" isn't even pronounced "Zedd" in Spanish.

Check out the original stream of tweets and the t-shirt that is on sale now below.
