Marshmello creates the playlist to his life in a video for Teen Vogue.

What music made a sentient dessert want to become a musician? Apparently, we have some rock'n'roll, a lot of rap and one electronic dance song to thank for Marshmello's career.

The masked producer got together with Teen Vogue to compile some of the most important songs in his life. Not all of them are from his childhood. The Weeknd, $uicideboy$ and Lil Uzi Vert all make the cut for recent songs he can't stop playing. He also lists Ludacris, Sum 41 and Avenged Sevenfold. The one dance music song on the list? Eiffel 65's "Blue." Classic.

Which song is the first song Marshmello learned to play on guitar? You'll have the watch the clip, narrated by his manager Moe Shalizi, below.
