Kygo and Sandro Cavazza attend the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena on Sept. 21, 2018 in Las Vegas.

It's common knowledge among Kygo fans that the Norwegian producer was incredibly inspired by the life and work of Avicii. He was as moved as any of us by his idol's sudden death in April of this year, but now, it seems he's using music to honor his spirit with a new track alongside Avicii's friend and collaborator Sandro Cavazza.

The producer brought the singer on stage during his recent performance at iHeartRadio Music Festival to debut the song. "Happy Now" is not an outright tribute to the fallen star, but there are lyrical elements about losing someone close. The melody is tropical and upbeat, classic Kygo fare in that sense.

Because the festival was streamed online, fans were able to capture the performance and share the song in its entirety on YouTube. Check it out below.
