All these house producers are out here trying to re-create the vibe of the '90s, but acid-techno whiz Boys Noize and sexy soul crooner Steven A. Clark are actually re-creating the '90s. The pair hooked up on Clark's sophomore album Where Neon Goes to Die. Boys Noize executive produced the project, lending his real analog synth laboratory to Clark's '80s-inspired sound. In return, Clark lent his impeccable vocals to a cover of one of the producer's all-time favorite jams; Adamski's "Killer," featuring Seal.

“Being a '90s kid, I kind of grew up with this song which later became one of these tunes I’d play out at the end of the night," Boys Noize is quoted in a press release. "When I met Steven and heard his voice for the first time, I immediately thought of that track and the idea of doing a cover version was born. It was initially just for fun, but it turned banging and lit the dance floors wherever I’d drop it - so here I am sharing my industrial 'Killer.'”

Boys Noize keeps the tambour of the original intact, pumping it with a slightly more acidic edge. The video is also an honest ode to the original, almost a shot-by-shot reinterpretation of the wild, cybernetic fantasy, this time directed by Lil Internet. It was filmed on location in c-base headquarters in Berlin. The a non-profit association is a hackers paradise, dedicated to increasing knowledge and skills of computerized sciences. The space used for filming is called the "airlock," or sometimes by c-basers as the "Space Station."

If you like hackers, science fiction, '80s music, strong-jawed models with striking looks, skin-tight silver leotards and things that are good, you're sure to enjoy the revamped "Killer" video from Boys Noize and Clark below.
