Tiesto's 'WOW' Video Is a War of Worlds: Watch

Jordan Loyd

We don't know who this mysterious hero is, or what happened to his world, but we do know the protagonist in Tiesto's "WOW" music video is one serous badass. This kid is jumping around spindly towers high above the ground, fighting a hoard of drones, throwing bombs into the hornet's nest and taking punches on the chin. He's a one-man army, as is Tiesto on the solo production, his first non-collaborative tune in quite some time.

It's almost like a boss battle from a video game, a real war of worlds, as if that was what "WOW" stands for. The video is beautifully synchronized with each frenzied moment in the song's composition. The camera pans with the cymbal, enemies attack with the drop. It's all very well done, in that regard.

"WOW" follows Tiesto's "Jackie Chan," another digital clip that pits Tiesto inside some game-like universe. Jump into the world of "WOW" below.
