Loud Luxury

Each week, Billboard Dance looks at songs & albums rising on Billboard's dance charts.

Loud Luxury x Anders, "Love No More"

Los Angeles-based DJ duo Loud Luxury (Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace), originally from Toronto, teaming with fellow Toronto native and singer Anders (full name: Anders Ly), lurches onto Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated Sept. 15) at No. 27 with "Love No More." The second entry for Loud Luxury (and first for Anders), "Love" follows breakout track "Body" (which rebounds 11-10, matching its peak first reached Aug.18). "Love" earned 884,000 U.S. streams and sold 1,000 downloads in the tracking week ending Sept. 6, according to Nielsen Music. The latter figure is enough to also launch "Love" at No. 25 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart.

Fedyk tells Billboard, "When thinking about the next chapter for us, we wanted to return to our roots and do something that felt special for Toronto. A couple months ago we found Anders' music online and got introduced through a mutual friend. He showed us a bunch of ideas he was working on, including a much slower R&B version of what was originally 'Love No More.' We ended up messing around in the studio and making a version that felt really special. Right away, we knew that it would be the next step in our journey."

Niiko x SWAE + Alicia Madison, "Flavor"

Los Angeles-based DJ/producer duo Niiko (real name: Nikolaus Becker) and SWAE (Mark Manchester), along with singer Alicia Madison, motors 13-10 on Dance Club Songs with "Flavor." It's the first Billboard top 10 for the DJ duo and the first on Dance Club Songs for Madison; in January, with Rooverb and Alan Crown, Madison reached No. 6 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay with "Insanity." "Flavor" follows Niiko x SWAE's "Run This Town" (featuring Celine Farach), which trotted to No. 16 on Dance Club Songs in April. "Flavor" was remixed by Charming Horses, Angel Manuel and DJ Alan bd, among others.

Says SWAE, "When we created the instrumental for 'Flavor,' we knew Alicia Madison would be perfect for the vocals. She brought the energy and emotion, and we set the vibe with the tropical, future bass beat, making it such a powerful and fun song. To us, the song is about that flavorful high you feel when you find that special somebody for the first time."

Bowie Jane, "Busted"

Also Los Angeles-based, DJ/producer/singer Bowie Jane barrels 49-38 in her second frame on Dance Club Songs with "Busted." It's the first Billboard chart action for the Melbourne, Australia native. "Busted" was remixed by The Cube Guys, Bondii, and Glovibes & Dawna Montell, among others.

DJ Glovibes (real name: Leonardo Abbate, based in, you guessed it, Los Angeles) tells Billboard, "Dawna and I fell in love with the original 'Busted,' and Bowie Jane's voice is amazing and we love her energy. Also, to be on the package with my fellow paesanos, The Cube Guys, is a bonus! We've been playing both versions for the past few months and it always works great on the dance floor."
