Loud Luxury x Anders, "Love No More"
Los Angeles-based DJ duo Loud Luxury (Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace), originally from Toronto, teaming with fellow Toronto native and singer Anders (full name: Anders Ly), lurches onto Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated Sept. 15) at No. 27 with "Love No More." The second entry for Loud Luxury (and first for Anders), "Love" follows breakout track "Body" (which rebounds 11-10, matching its peak first reached Aug.18). "Love" earned 884,000 U.S. streams and sold 1,000 downloads in the tracking week ending Sept. 6, according to Nielsen Music. The latter figure is enough to also launch "Love" at No. 25 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart.
Fedyk tells Billboard, "When thinking about the next chapter for us, we wanted to return to our roots and do something that felt special for Toronto. A couple months ago we found Anders' music online and got introduced through a mutual friend. He showed us a bunch of ideas he was working on, including a much slower R&B version of what was originally 'Love No More.' We ended up messing around in the studio and making a version that felt really special. Right away, we knew that it would be the next step in our journey."
