Avicii's Personal Piano to Be Displayed in Swedish Museum

It's been about five months since Swedish superstar dance-music producer Avicii took his own life, but it will be far longer until the world forgets his impact. His homeland certainly won't let his memory "Fade Into Darkness," and toward that end, the "Levels" producer's native Stockholm adds his personal piano to the collection of a local museum.

The news of the acquisition was announced by Los Angeles-based Lynda Murray's interior design firm on Instagram. The stunning Steinway previously resided in Avicii's California home, which has now been sold. You can see a picture of the piano in its former home below.

Many artists, fans and friends have shared remembrances and tributes to the late artist, who would have turned 29 earlier this month, since his passing. He is survived by his loving parents, who recently created a digital memory board, upon which anyone can share stories of their time with Avicii and the way his music continues to impact their lives, in hopes that his legacy will shine bright for years to come.

This beautiful Steinway is on its way to a museum in Stockholm.
