"Happy Now" performed acoustically by Zedd's brother and Elley Duhé.

"Why does everything sound better acoustic?" That's the top YouTube comment on Zedd and Elley Duhé's acoustic cover of dance-pop collaboration "Happy Now," and the fan makes a good point. Zedd's original work on the keyboard brings a dichotomous rose-colored glow to the summer single, but this version strips bare its heartbroken lyrics to reveal the beautiful melancholy within.

The acoustic version was released across streaming platforms, but a video of its live performance was shared on YouTube. If you're looking at the guitar player and thinking, "Zedd doesn't quite look himself from this angle," that's because it's not. The guitarist is "The Middle" producer's brother, Arkadi Zaslavski. Looks like musical prowess runs throughout the family tree.

"Happy Now" just hit the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at No. 90 on the Sept. 8-dated chart. Can an acoustic version push it further? Will this spark an obsession for more videos of Zedd's brother?
