Swedish House Mafia, from left, Axwell, Steve, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello arrive at the 55th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, 2013 in Los Angeles.

Steve Angello confirmed that Swedish House Mafia are making new music in a recent interview with Swedish news outlet Dagens Nyheter.

"During summer, everyone is traveling a lot,” Angello is quoted. “But we’ve entered the studio. I can’t really say much more."

It's been six years since the trio, comprised of Angello and Axwell & Ingrosso, released the album Until Now. The news comes on the heels of intense rumors following a one-off reunion show at Miami's flagship Ultra Music Festival in March. Angello stoked fans' hopes for more when he signed off from his Ultra Europe headline performance by saying "Swedish House Mafia loves you."

No release day is in sight, but as the first concrete promise of things to come, it's more than tantalizing. Read the full story via Dagens Nyheter.
