Steve Aoki arrives at the Secret Genius Awards at Vibiana in Los Angeles on Nov. 1, 2017.

Steve Aoki reveals in a new interview with Anna Lunoe on Beats 1 that fans can expect collaborations with everyone from Blink-182 to Nicki Minaj on his forthcoming LP Neon Future III.

Of course, Aoki has made a whole career off "out of the box" collaborations. He's worked with everyone from Linkin Park to BTS, Fall Out Boy, Snoop Dogg and more. Lunoe sat down with Aoki at Tomorrowland to figure out what magic tricks the producer employs to get such heavy hitters in his rotation.

"Twitter is still used in that way," Aoki says with a coy smile. "I've talked to a lot of rappers. I tried to reach NIcki Minaj, and I was like, 'I can't get through.' I tweeted at her, and then she followed me, and then I DM'd her, like, 'I've been trying to send you this record.' And she got it, and she's like, 'I love this.'"

We also know that Aoki has a collaboration with Maluma on the way, though whether it's part of the upcoming Neon Future III album remains to be seen.

If you want to hear more about the Minaj and Blink collaborations, Aoki's new pizza restaurant, or whatever else Forbes' fourth-richest DJ in the world is up to these days, you can hear more in the full interview with Lunoe on Apple Music. Otherwise, check out a clip below.
