deadmau5, Laidback Luke & More DJs React to Zedd, Diplo Beef
Thank goodness for Taco Tuesday. The dance music world is serving up some serious beef.
Zedd reignited his long-standing feud with Diplo after an opening from Max Vangeli. The Size Records producer threw choice words at the Major Lazer co-founder after his opening for Diplo's set in Hong Kong left him feeling snubbed. Vangeli called Diplo "a clown ass bitch," among other things, and Zedd responded in agreement.
Diplo then set off a stream of response tweets, rich with memes and facetious apologies. Vangeli continues to tweet about it, taking shots at other DJs and industry professional who try to side with him privately. It feels as if the entire DJing world wants to weigh in.
Check some of the responses below.

Put the fucking bottle down, drink at least 500ml of water, pop and Advil and go to bed.— Goat lord (@deadmau5) June 12, 2018
Holy fuck "bro". The first two tweets were kinda funny, but you need to put the twitter down for a minute and take a nap. I don't even know what's more tired at this point.— Goat lord (@deadmau5) June 12, 2018
.... another one.— Goat lord (@deadmau5) June 12, 2018

And while you’re at it. Ghost write the piano that inspired the track that I’m making a music video edit for, right at this moment. https://t.co/n8DhZg0Rmc— ▽ (@3LAU) June 12, 2018
Shocking takeaways from the current EDM beef wars: 1) many DJs have overinflated egos 2) producers often bring in outside help 3) twitter is spicy AF --... and nothing is new --— Morgan Page (@morganpage) June 12, 2018
Wow what a start to the morning https://t.co/1bvtHx3aNB— Dancing Astronaut (@dancingastro) June 12, 2018
EDM fights are so corny.— Phantoms (@phantoms) June 12, 2018
Diplo didn’t recongize me once but i already valued my self worth and didn’t need his validation to justify my career.— -------- (@autoerotique) June 12, 2018
Lots of people have writers, including Zedd, Diplo and Tiesto etc. The entire argument is really weak.
always— Diplo (@_diplo_) June 12, 2018
were you hoping i would make fun of that dj with the rockstar energy drink hat who got pissed because he thinks being paid to play music is some kind of great service and sacrifice?— Diplo (@_diplo_) June 12, 2018
