Zedd on BTS Collab: 'Hopefully It's Going to Happen This Year'

Back in November of 2017, K-pop crossover act BTS tweeted how much they'd love to work with Zedd. That was even before the seven-piece boy band released their track with Steve Aoki, "Mic Drop," so they've had their sights on the best in electronic dance for some time. Zedd responded to the band on twitter immediately, and they got fans excited around the world.

An interviewer recently caught up with Zedd on the prospect, and the outlook is good, even if it might take a while.

"Usually it takes a really long time for me to release a song," Zedd says. "You have to imagine that when I decide to collaborate with somebody I probably already have a song finished in the pipeline to release after my single, and that's another half a year... We're definitely talking about it, we want to collaborate on a song again, same issues as always, it's a mix of finding the right time and the right song."

Zedd says again that it will happen, and hopefully by the end of this year, but he's making no solid promises. Check the clip out below.
