K?D. "Distance"

Each week, Billboard Dance looks at songs & albums rising on Billboard's dance charts.

K?D featuring Blair, "Distance"

DJ/producer K?D (real name Patrick Cybulski) earns his best Billboard chart performance, debuting at No. 27 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay survey (dated April 7) with "Distance," featuring Blair. The track arrives nearly a year after his first Billboard chart appearance, also on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, as "Lose Myself," featuring Phil Good, spent a week at No. 40. "Distance" draws nearly all its airplay from three core-dance outlets: iHeartRadio's Evolution network (as monitored on WFLZ-HD Tampa, Florida), SiriusXM's BPM and Music Choice's Dance/EDM channel, according to Nielsen Music.

CID, "I Miss You"

New York-based DJ/producer CID (aka Carlos Cid) commands his second appearance on Dance/Mix Show Airplay with "I Miss You," new at No. 39. In June 2016, CID's collab with Kaskade, "Us," rose to No. 29. In between, CID drew buzz with the track "Secrets," featuring Conrad Sewell. "Miss" manages its debut via play from iHeartRadio's Evolution, Music Choice's Dance/EDM channel and SiriusXM's BPM.

MitiS, 'Til the End

Pennsylvania-based MitiS (real name Joseph Torre) notches a No. 4 bow on Dance/Electronic Album Sales with 'Til the End. It's the first Billboard chart appearance for the electronic producer, who is also a classically-trained pianist. The set, which contains collabs with PartyNails, Gioto and Tedy, among others, sold 1,000 copies in its opening frame.
