Marshmello, Excision, Alan Walker & More Set for Sunset Music Fest 2018
Is there anything better than live music with friends under a pink and orange sky?
The dance fans of Tampa, Fla., know that's the life, and every year they celebrate with some of the best dance music the scene has to offer at Sunset Music Festival. It's a Disco Donnie event, so you know the lineup is stacked, and this year brings some of the Billboard Dance 100's top talent.
In 2018, Sunset Music Festival will host headliners Marshmello, Excision and Alan Walker as well as some interesting back-to-back sets from A-Trak and YehMe2, friends who released the wild EP Skat Men earlier this year, and Barely Alive with Virtual Riot. There will also be stage takeovers from party brands All My Friends and Brownies & Lemonade.
“This year’s SMF lineup includes a lot of firsts to make the lineup our biggest yet," Disco Donnie said a news release. "Three top tier headliners, new genres like hip hop, a focus on female artists, back to back sets, stage takeovers by All My Friends and Brownies & Lemonade, plus some new surprises in store in coming weeks.”
It comes to life at the Raymond James Stadium north lot during Memorial Day Weekend (May 26-27). There's a lot of cool activations and surprises in store.
“I feel that we really dialed in the operations last year and can’t wait to show all the added toys we put into the festival this year for our family to enjoy," John Santoro of Sunset Events said. "I hope everybody’s ready for an unbelievable festival. From the start in 2006 to now is simply amazing how our fans love for this festival made it grow to what we are all going to experience this memorial weekend. Can’t wait for memorial weekend and for all the memories to be made.”
