Gregory Reveret and Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5.

Dance music producers who team up with live orchestras. They're all the rage! Above & Beyond did it, Pete Tong did it, and now deadmau5 will transcribe his wildly cinematic progressive house and techno sound from modern-classic to classical.

The Canadian producer has teamed with TIDAL X and Gregory Reveret for an elegant evening. Reveret is a film composer with credits including Deadpool and Justice League, and he helped deadmau5 re-imagine his catalog for actual strings, brass, woodwinds and the whole deal. On Easter Sunday, April 1, Reveret, his orchestra and deadmau5 will perform the producer's 2014 release 7, a collection of seven tracks inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins. It's dubbed "where's the drop?" and it's a one-time, all-ages concert.

Of course, not everyone can make it, so TIDAL X will stream the performance for TIDAL customers. deadmau5 also announced he will release pre-recorded reinterpretations of 17 of his songs as an album on the Friday before the show. The only catch? It'll be released exclusively on TIDAL.

Naturally, TIDAL members had a jump on tickets a day in advance, but tickets go on sale to the general public today at 12 p.m. EST / 9 a.m. PST. Check deadmau5's teaser video for the show below.
