Zhu performs during the Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park on Oct. 8, 2017 in Austin.

Zhu hit the stage at Sony and China's Tencent event and helped celebrate the start of a new electronic dance music label called Liquid State, but he stole the show when he announced his own forthcoming collaboration with Tame Impala.

Zhu is one of the dance scene's most exciting producers. He effortlessly blends noir jazz horns and electric guitar into his late-night rhythms for a bedroomy sound that's as fun as it is sensual. Tame Impala is one of rock's most highly-respected modern groups, bringing a fresh sound to classic vibes that lead to comparisons with The Beatles. We can only imagine what a collaboration between the two would sound like, but we anticipate some great psychedelic vibes.

Billboard Dance confirmed the collaboration with Zhu's management. No word on when it will see release.
