Adventure Club Talks Grammy Nomination, Cryptocurrency & Remixes: Watch

Adventure Club was recently nominated for its first Grammy, thanks to the duo's killer remix of Kehlani's "Undercover," and Billboard Dance editor Matt Medved caught up with them to chat about that insane rush in a recent in-office video.

As the story goes, the guys had just landed early in the morning after a rare red-eye flight. They turned their phones on to check in on their crypto-currencies when their manager tried to text 'em the good news. He's a mischievous dude, and Adventure Club thought it was just another one of his usual pranks. When their agent texted too, they thought the prank was more elaborate than usual, but once the news sunk in, the guys jumped up in spite of the very-on seatbelt sign. They embraced each other as the flight attendants yelled, but who cares when you've got a Grammy nom?

The guys talk more about how the possibly-award-winning remix came to be, as well as what makes a song worth remixing. They discuss new projects, a super-secret exciting thing with tight collaborations that they're very excited to unveil but can't say much about. Know that it takes them back to their roots and old-school fans should be stoked.

It's a fun video chat running just under 20 minutes. Check it out above.
