A storm is brewing and Quix is conjuring all the action. The New Zealand-raised producer has unleashed a new single, "Storm," which Billboard premieres just days out from the restart of his touring schedule.

"Storm," likes its name would suggest, is a wild ride of frenetic beats, moments of downtime and a fair few digital slaps to the face. Stream the track below.

Quix will support "Storm" through a months-long tour, which gets away Sunday (Jan. 14) at Miami’s Life In Color fest. “I'm excited to launch into this new year, new tour and this new song as a standing point for myself to show everyone what I've got under my belt,” Quix tells Billboard.

Storm Tour revellers are in for a belter. The theme of the trek, he explains, “isn't just because it's a cool branding opportunity and works well with my logo; it's a theme that carries the idea of what a storm means. It's a shift in the atmosphere, changing and shaping what's around it. That is what I want to bring into the new year, into all my shows and the people I meet, essentially bringing everything I have got along with the good vibes. I want to create an atmosphere where people feel welcomed and inspired by music."

Quix had a strong year in 2017 during which he delivered his debut EP Heaps Cool, a six-pack of his signature wonky trap, and earned plaudits from The Chainsmokers.
