Laidback Luke Fires Shots at 'Rigged' DJ Mag Top 100 List

Laidback Luke has some choice words for DJ Mag, and he claims its editors had some words for him as well.

The Dutch DJ and producer went off on Twitter, saying he was not on the Magazine's popular Top 100 best DJs list because of comments he made in a vlog against its controversial voting process. He shared screenshots of email snippets with editors and claims they fought with him over his words, calling him "not popular enough” and “a has-been-EDM DJ."

Luke says the DJ Mag poll is "rigged," continuing to say "I’ve always been a fan of the list, but it’s grown to be a monster. I don’t care about my position, I don’t need them. But from the many fellow DJs that I know throw money at them (or else...), to the ones that hacked the system. It is what it is now."

Billboard Dance has reached out to DJ Mag's U.K. editors for comment. Read Luke's Tweets below.
