Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano Take The Knocks' 'House Party' to the Club for Remix Package: Exclusive

The Knocks

NYC-based dance duo The Knocks are taking things back to their roots on recent tune "House Party." It's a cool, lo-fi vibe that taps into mid-aught bloghouse grooves, when the party was less about poppin' bottles in the club and more about sweating your ass off on the dance floor, dripping cheap whiskey from your twisted smile until the cops broke up the function.

It's all part of more work coming from The Knocks soon, but while we ride this beat, it's time for a sick remix package. Rinses are forthcoming from Doorly and BUKU, but we get the party started with a funky club edit from Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano

A big build carries JPatt's vocals to the middle of a megaclub dance floor. Everywhere you look are sexy dancers and well-dressed partiers with their hands up toward the neon ceiling. Sparks fly as the remix hits its shimmering climax and the beat kicks hard with rumbling bass.

It's a long groove you can ride well into the morning. The Sunnery James & Ryan marciano take is out on Big Beat/Neon Gold Friday, Dec. 1, but you can gather your friends and turn your own living room into a club with the tune below, exclusively on Billboard Dance
