The 8 Best BTS Remixes and Covers: Critic's Picks

K-pop supergroup BTS has been gaining steam ever since they came together in 2013 and dropped their single "No More Dream." The seven-member band has an incredibly loyal fan base and recently, broke the world record for the most Twitter engagements.

BTS made their official U.S. television debut at the 2017 American Music Awards on Nov. 19 where they performed their new hit "DNA." The record peaked at No. 67 on the Hot 100 and is on its way to hitting the 100 million stream mark on Spotify.

Steve Aoki had the honor of remixing their single "MIC Drop" featuring Desiigner, which leads our list of the best remixes and covers of BTS songs. See below for the list, curated by Billboard Dance.

BTS (?????) - "MIC Drop" (Steve Aoki Remix)

Steve Aoki's highly anticipated rework of "MIC Drop" has arrived and lived up to its hype. The Dim Mak chief flips the hip-hop record into a trap heater that's overlaid with distorted vocal chops and punchy snare hits. The music video featuring Aoki and BTS only adds to the song's intensity.

BTS (?????) - "MIC Drop" (Slushii Remix)

Just before 2017 comes to a close, Slushii drops his own take on BTS' "MIC Drop". He delivers a feel-good melodic rendition of the record, keeping things simple yet satisfying.

BTS (?????) - "Fake Love" (Zedd Remix)

Zedd dropped a huge future-trap remix of "Fake Love" on the crowd at Ultra Korea 2018. The audience went nuts to the bright and bouncy rendition, which you can hear in the fan-caught clip above.

BTS (?????) - "Blood Sweat & Tears" (Helio Kiyoshi & Jvckrs Remix)

Up-and-comer Jvckrs has remixed practically every BTS song release. This time around, the producer teams up with Helio Kiyoshi for a brassy rendition of "Blood, Sweat & Tears" that has a metallic aftertaste.

BTS (?????) - "Save Me" (Bambeast Remix)

Bambeast's future bass rendition of "Save Me" carries a perfect blend of the original's core elements and a fresh lead melody that adds on a bit of grit. We're confident you'll have this song on repeat.

BTS (?????) - "DNA" (Sungshin Cover)?

Sungshin's silky smooth vocals make for a sweet cover of "DNA." The song is stripped down an acoustic melody, a head-bopping whistle melody and a simple drum kick.

BTS (?????) - "DNA" (Silv3rT3ar Cover)

Elise a.k.a. Silv3rT3ar shares a beautiful, youthful cover of "DNA" that is even more stripped down than Sungshin's. There's a warm, homey feeling to it that's perfect for cozying up next to someone.

BTS (?????) – "Spring Day" (Ysabelle Cover)

Let's take a break from "DNA" and switch to the BTS song "Spring Day." Ysabelle provides listeners a beautiful, whispery piano cover of the record. The layering of her smokey vocals over one another are what make this cover one of the best.
