Marshmello, "Blocks"

Bullies aren't supposed to follow you to college, but no one told the dummy frat dudes from this new Marshmello music video. The masked music man just wants to find his passion alongside like-minded individuals, which is kind of the whole point of college when you think about it. He has the chance to be popular or be true to himself. Which path does our hero choose?

Aww, you already know Marshmello stays true to himself, and he finds friends in the on-campus music club, eventually taking the head spot as band director. Musically, "Blocks" is right in line with all of Marshmello's hits, a fun and funky melody that bounces bright over a trap-inspired beat. Fans will recognize it from 2016's debut album Joytime.

It's a return to original form, after he sang pop-punk on "You & Me" and featured with radio players Khalid and Selena Gomez on "Silence" and "Wolves."

Back to basics with the "Blocks." Watch the full clip below.
