Dillon Francis Revisits His 'Need You' Alter Ego in Chart Rewind: Watch

Back in 2016, DJ Dillon Francis released his song "Need You," which shot up to no. 21 on the dance and electronic music charts.

In Billboard's series, "Chart Rewind," Francis took a look back at the video for "Need You," featured an alternate version of himself performing at unsuspecting suburban barbeque.

"Creating this character with Jack [Wagner] was so much fun because it was already created on his Instagram," Francis says of the DJ character in the music video. This version of Francis dons a white visor (chosen by Francis himself) along with a pooka shell necklace and black turtleneck that he says was "necessary" for the character. Francis also revealed that Wagner was actually behind the camera during the video's opening, asking him questions before the big party sequence.

Relive all the wonderful dad dancing and more in Dillon Francis' "Need You" music video in the video above.
