A-Trak & Baauer Debut Two-Song Collab EP, Announce B2B Fall Tour

Quinton Domniguez
A-Trak & Baauer

What do you think A-Trak and Baauer together would sound like? You'd think heavy bass, funky melodies, hard hip-hop beats. Both DJ-producers have become icons of a certain vibe, but they throw that vibe out the window for their debut collaborative EP, two tracks that nod at '90s nostalgia while sounding not quite like anything you might have in mind.

"Fern Gully" is a fun, colorful, jungle of sound. It bounces on a hand-drum beat through quirky samples and a vibrant melody that reminds one of old Donkey Kong games. "Dumbo Drop" is a bit darker, built around thumping bass and a strange drop that, if you squint, kind of does sound like an elephant roar.

The two-track release will be celebrated with a back-to-back, five-date tour with festival and nightclub stops in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Georgia and Louisiana.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now. Check the full list of dates and listen to "Fern Gully" and "Dumbo Drop" below.
