Porter Robinson performs during the 21st annual Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on June 18, 2017 in Las Vegas.

The track is the DJ and producer's second released under his new moniker.

Porter Robinson is going full in on his new alias Virtual Self. It was just two weeks ago when the new angle was announced with the mysterious, happy hardcore sounds of debut single "EON BREAKS" that had fans making up their own DDR moves in living rooms across the world. Now on Wednesday (Nov. 8), Robinson proved his new avatar dives deeper than one dimension with the new song "Ghost Voices."

"Ghost Voices" is a slick, sexy house tune bringing soulful, halftime garage vibes. It's got a shine like dark velvet with fat bass synths and echoes of trance. Virtual Self is giving Robinson ample room to explore the many facets of his sonic inspirations.

Just as with "EON BREAKS," you hear shadows of the usual Robinson fare with some white noise fades. He also created a cool-toned, purple visual which serves up heavy GameCube-era graphic feels. Virtual Self seems like an amalgamation of Robinson's personal sense of nostalgia and the future of his creative frontier.

Virtual Self is pushing a cool, techno-spiritual aesthetic on social media, seemingly joined in by some fellow users by the monikers technic-Angel and Pathselector. Something very conceptual and sci-fi cool is afoot. We're super excited to see where he takes this next. For now, listen to "Ghost Voices" below.
