The itinerary for deadmau5's second "lots of shows in a row tour" noticeably snubbed most of the States, but in hindsight, it was only to make his only American stop seem that much more special.

Commemorating last month's two-day stay at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater, he's released an aftermovie of his sets at the hallmark venue, showing off his new custom-built booth and teasing to some new music.

The recap leads off with a time-warped look at the load-in, set to mau5's Shotty Horroh feature "Legendary." As the scene shifts to the actual meat-and-potatoes of the second performance, a new track labeled as "A Seed" is uploaded.

The 50-second clip is packed with all the slippery beeps and squelches you've come to expect. Whether this classic EDM style or his hip-hop cuts will dominate the sound of deadmau5's next album is something we'll have to wait to be answered for us (which, keeping him honest, should be spring 2018).
