"I'm from the Paris you don't see on TV," he says. "I represent the underdogs, the people that nobody believes in."

Beats by Dre has released its newest entry to their "Above the Noise" short film series, in promotion of their Studio3 Wireless headphones. This time, the spotlight is on DJ Snake, where he discusses in poetic terms his ascendance from growing up in the banlieue housing projects outside of France to performing atop the roof of the Arc de Triomphe, the first artist to do so.

"I'm from the Paris you don't see on TV," DJ Snake narrates as the camera zooms out from a window on a housing building and onto the streets below. "I represent the underdogs, the people that nobody believes in."

Previous episodes of "Above the Noise" have included mini-profiles on Conor McGregor, Kris Wu and Yasiel Puig.
