Electronic producers and video games go hand-in-hand. Most of the men and women from today's scene are directly inspired by the soundtracks of the RPGs, battle royales and side-scrollers they grew up glued to and video games have capitalized on that special relationship with titles like Guitar HeroDJ Hero and underground favorite Def Jam Rapstar. In today's market, game developers straight-up hire electronic producers to make songs for their latest releases.

On Tuesday (Oct. 31), PlayStation announced its collaboration with Avicii on a new game called Invector, developed for PS4. The rhythmic-based game was first announced two years ago at Paris Games Week and we get the first-look at the official trailer that puts the superstar producer's "Without You" front and center.

In gameplay, you take control of Stella, Collector Pilot H45H1M, and guide her space craft as it flies through wild interstellar terrains, dodging or kind of playing into obstacles that correlate with the beat of different songs. It looks similar to Guitar and DJ Hero in that regard, though the graphics are serving us more Geometry Wars, with all this space-age neon realness.

Looks like the game will feature a whole bunch of Avicii songs new and old, including "What Would I Change It To," "Pure Grinding," "You Be Love" and more. Watch the full Invector announcement trailer below.
