Lady Drewniak

You've got to have a sense of humor to call yourself Generik. You've also got to be sure you don't sleep on your melodies, and this Australian dance-pop producer puts in the work to stand out. He's Calvin Harris' protege, and that's a pretty good look.

His latest single "So High" will have you dancing in the clouds. It's soulful vocals and piano beat are solid gold with a touch of '70s nostalgia. It makes us want to don roller skates and wave our arms in the air in Venice Beach, Ca. It's got a slight tropical tinge to it's disco-house vibe that'll please any Duke Dumont fan, and since this early autumn is unseasonably warm, there's no reason you can't keep the summer vibe alive.

"So High" is out Friday, Sept. 29, on Onelove Music Group, but you can listen to it in full below, exclusively on Billboard Dance
