New York City’s Schimanski has a new Friday night. It's called The Function, and it's brought to you by RPM and the people behind Girls & Boys, the longest-running electronic party in all of NYC, which made its home at Webster Hall before that venue's curtain call in August.

The Function celebrates emerging talent from all corners of the electronic scene, as long as the bass rings true. It aims to give dimension to the club, so far known mostly for its house and techno bookings. The Function will give bass, future, and funk-loving fans a space to shake their derrieres, all bodies welcome.

The series kicks off a soft start Thursday, Sept. 7, with Destructo, and will follow with a special Saturday reprise featuring Manila Killa vs Robotaki. Upcoming shows include GTA, Big Wild, and more, leading up to the hard launch with Ghastly, Oct. 6. Check the full lineup below, follow The Function on Facebook, and visit Schimanski online for tickets and more information.
