The amazing hometown performance was captured for a Facebook Live video stream.

DJ Snake paid tribute to his Parisian roots and unveiled a new single called, “A Different Way,” featuring Lauv and co-written by Ed Sheeran, in some kind of hella stylish and opulently future wave.

For this DJ Snake mounted the famous Arc de Triomphe, one of Paris' most iconic structures, where he stood on a glowing makeshift stage surrounded by spotlights and gave a luminous performance -- a fitting tribute to the so-called City of Lights.

The roughly 20-minute mini-mix showcased the producer's journey, from his breakout hit “Turn Down For What” to the haunting chords of “Here Comes The Night,” through a dark and celebratory remix of his chart-topper “Let Me Love You,” and more. It culminated with the beautiful, somewhat melancholic romance of “A Different Way.”

You could feel his love for his city and his home country throughout the clip, which drew more than 1.5 million views on Facebook and Instagram. An intro showcased the beautiful diversity of the streets that shaped who the man has become. You can watch the full performance in the Facebook video below. Keep your ears perked for “A Different Way” on a radio near you.
