The two also announced their first-ever back-to-back set at AMF Festival in October.

Armin van Buuren and Hardwell are two of the biggest DJs in the world. They're also both Dutch, both leaders of their sounds and have both been instrumental in cementing the Netherlands as a focal point and innovator in the electronic music industry. While their sounds represent a yin and yang of the dance spectrum, they have more in common than not and it's finally time for these major minds to merge behind the decks. So it is with great fanfare that the pair have announced they will debut themselves as back-to-back mix partners at this year's AMF Festival, the largest dance music festival at the annual Amsterdam Dance Event.

The dynamic Dutch duo gave fans a taste of things to come when they surprised the public of Amsterdam's Dam Square with a 15-minute "B2B" warm up set and you can watch the full live stream below. Don't worry, the video begins right after that “technical difficulties” screen. It's really incredible to see kids in the square jammin' to a wild mix of hard-edged electro house and energetic trance.

The real deal main event will go down Saturday, Oct. 21. This is being pushed as a “one off” experience, which means it may be the only time fans can catch this pair in action. It's all part of AMF Festival's fifth-anniversary celebration. Tickets are on sale now.
