The music-based docuseries will follow The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki and more.

Face your fears, run straight toward your limits, and live your best life. That's Rory Kramer's philosophy.

The world-renowned music videographer decided years ago that instead of running from his depression, he'd confront it head on. When he learned that his own inhibitions and worries couldn't kill him, he pushed himself further and chased his dreams. Today, he's created a career filming some of the biggest names in music, and he's kept his sense of adventure at the heart of his work.

"I promote living life to the fullest and seeing the world through an optimistic lens," Kramer tells Billboard. "I want others to see how much fun I have and think, 'If he can do all these awesome things then why can't I?’ I want others to Run It."

Kramer's dedication to pushing his limits extends to his friends, and when your friends are Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, and Rae Sremmurd, people tend to take notice. His lust for life translates in the way he captures both live performances and off-stage antics, and MTV celebrates his unique perspective with a new show.

Dare To Live takes Kramer and his friends on thrill-seeking adventures, whether it's Iggy Azalea flying a fighter plane or he and Krewella hanging out in the middle of the open ocean. Each half-hour episode will give fans a new perspective on their favorite stars, because getting people out of their comfort zone is Kramer's specialty.

He's traveled the world filming Kanye West and Justin Bieber, filmed music videos for The Chainsmokers, Tori Kelly, and more, but he's never done anything quite like this. Dare To Live premieres on MTV Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 11 p.m. EST with two back-to-back episodes every week. Check a preview of Dare To Live below, and strap yourself in for one helluva ride.
