Any Pretty Lights fan knows the PL experience is multi-dimensional. One does not simply go to see mastermind Derek Smith and his band to hear genre-bending music. One goes to be blasted into another world by the symbiotic relationship of lights, sound and movement.

Pretty Lights represents an all-encompassing live experience -- a feast for the senses on all fronts -- and now, so too does his label, Pretty Lights Music.

It's a family affair, and you're invited as Pretty Lights Music pivots from mere music hub to full-on open-source community, where creatives can come together to share art, graphics, visuals and music. Communication and experimentation will be encouraged among the PLMusic family, and Pretty Lights will put his weight behind his favorite works by pushing them via his social networks.

Essentially, PLMusic will become a living forum where creatives can come together, inspire each other, collaborate and increase their visibility while strengthening and expanding what the PLMusic universe is all about.

How this all pans out in the flesh is yet to be seen, but it's a rather exciting stab at evolving what a label brand can be. Check the official Pretty Lights Music announcement via Facebook below:
