Jauz & Crankdat Drop Hard-Hitting Collaboration 'I Hold Still' Featuring Slushii

David Higgs

Trend-setting bass players Jauz and Crankdat have dropped their highly-anticipated collaboration, "I Hold Still".

The thumping bass house record comes in instrumental form and has been teased out frequently on the festival circuit over the past year from mainstays like DJ Snake and Marshmello. From its explosive whomps to its melodic breaks, "I Hold Still" captures the best of both worlds.

Jauz has dished out a handful of original records this year already, all of which are part of his upcoming EP which has yet to receive an official release date. The collaboration with 20-year-old Crankdat feels like a natural fit as the rising act has already amassed over 150 million total streams with his bass-bending sound and has received an abundance of support from Jauz himself.

The two will both be performing at Electric Zoo in New York this summer so perhaps a live version will take place then. Listen to "I Hold Still", as well as the vocal rendition featuring Slushii, below:
