A father has filed a lawsuit against Insomniac and Live Nation for wrongful death and negligence, two years after his son passed away while attending EDC Las Vegas in 2015.

Nicholas Tom, 24, suffered a seizure after taking ecstasy. According to reports, Tom was carried to a medical tent by kind passersby where he later died. Tom's father, Terry, is suing event organizer Insomniac and Live Nation, claiming scarce and understaffed medical facilities. He also claims volunteers had no medical experience and cites insufficient access to water.

One man passed away at this year's EDC Las Vegas while more than 1,000 sought medical attention on site. Billboard Dance has reached out to Insomniac for comment.
